Melanie was born and raised in Waterville, Washington. She moved to Spokane in 1995 and obtained her A.A.S. – Paralegal Studies in 2001. Melanie spent 2006 – 2021 teaching at Spokane Community College in the Paralegal Program. She was also the Legal Administrative Assistant Coordinator at Spokane Community College until 2021. Melanie earned her undergraduate degree from Whitworth University in 2015 Suma Cum Laude and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2020 Magna Cum Laude. Melanie also volunteered her time with the Spokane County Bar Association – Registered Paralegal Committee until 2024.
Melanie has over 20 years experience in all phases of litigation as a paralegal. Melanie is familiar with federal and state court rules and procedures in Washington and Idaho. Melanie assists the attorneys with trial preparation, personal injury cases, and landlord-tenant disputes.
In her free time she enjoys time spent with family. Melanie adores her grandchildren and likes to spend as much time with them as possible. Melanie and her husband, kids, bonus daughters and grandchildren can be spotted together frequently. Melanie also is an avid gardener and spends as much time as possible tending to her flowers and decorating for each holiday.
