Law Clerk
Jessica Thompson
“You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing that we call ‘failure’ is not the falling down, but the staying down.”
– Mary Pickford
Jessica is currently enrolled in the APR 6 Law Clerk Program through the Washington State Bar Association and will be eligible to take the Washington State Bar Exam in 2023. With nearly 20 years of experience working with residential properties on risk management, operations, tax credit compliance, fair housing issues, lease violations, and unlawful detainers, Jessica works exclusively on property management and residential landlord-tenant matters handled at our law firm.
Jessica holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science Pre-Law from Washington State University. She also obtained an accounting and business certificate from Eastern Washington University. In addition, Jessica has undergone training in tax credit and bond requirements through the Washington State Housing and Finance Commission. She currently serves as an Executive Member on the Washington Multi Family Housing Association, Eastern Chapter, which is an organization dedicated to providing resources, education, and advocacy on behalf of residential landlords.
Raised in Spokane and a graduate of Gonzaga Prep, Jessica is happy to call Spokane her home. Her favorite things in this world are her three boys, and when she is spotted outside the office, she is typically chasing after them at a baseball game, wrestling match, or at a Cougar football game.
